AIHA BC-Yukon - Elizabeth McDonald Award Nomination Form

The late Elizabeth McDonald was a prominent figure in the industrial hygiene community in British Columbia. Throughout her life, she made significant contributions to the development of our profession. This award was created to simultaneously honor her achievements and those who have followed in her footsteps.

There are many members of our organization who have advanced our professional community, promoted the AIHA and industrial hygiene to the public and educated our members and the public alike. We would like to celebrate their achievements and contributions to our field with this award.

The AIHA BC Yukon Local Section is accepting nominations for the Elizabeth McDonald Member Recognition Award Program.                                                                                                                             

To be eligible for this award, nominees must be an AIHA BC Yukon Local Section member in good standing.  Note that current Executive members are ineligible for the award. 

Members may either self-nominate or nominate another member. All nominations will be evaluated by the AIHA BC Yukon Local Section Executive. To submit a nomination, complete the required information on the following page. Please ensure you complete all sections on the nomination form and send to Tammy Bowen via email (outreach@aihabc.org) or via snail mail at the address listed at the bottom of this application. 

Criteria used in the evaluation process include:

·         Promotion of the AIHA mission

·         Promotion of the AIHA BC Yukon Local Section goals and strategies

·         Involvement and Participation in the AIHA BC Yukon Local Section 

The deadline for nominations is February 10th, 2024

The Elizabeth McDonald Award will be presented at the 2024 Conference and Annual General Meeting in March 2024.
