Robin VanDriel
President

Robin is the founder of VOHS Consulting with over 18 years of experience working in health and safety for a variety of industries. Robin is a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) and registered occupational hygienist (ROH). She has spent 6 years working as a regulator; educating, consulting, and enforcing regulatory requirements.

Bianca Malouf
President-Elect

Bianca is owner of BOSS Consulting Inc. and currently in Kitimat at the LNG Canada Construction Project for the JPG Fluor Joint Venture as the Health and Hygiene Manager. Her past experience as a hygienist includes large Oil and Gas companies in Alberta and BC as well as the largest ship building and marine group in British Columbia. She obtained her Masters’ of Science from the School of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of British Columbia in 2012.

She is the CEO of replying to the wrong distribution list and giving everybody a laugh.  Currently working on bringing IH to the TikTok forefront.

Claire Mocock
Past President

Claire Mocock is a CRSP with an education in science, safety and business and has over 10 years of health & safety experience in various industries, including: research & education, property management, hospitality & entertainment, live events, and construction.

Claire has served on the BC-Yukon AIHA Local Section for almost 10 years and has held various positions within the executive team. Due to relocating out of province, Claire currently plays an advisory role as Co-Past President shared with Jeanette Campbell.  

Jeanette Campbell
Past President

Jeanette Campbell is a Senior Occupational Hygienist with WorkSafeBC.  Jeanette has been employed as an occupational hygienist in the private and public sectors for more than 30 years. She holds the CIH and ROH designations and completed an MSc (Applied) at McGill University's School of Occupational Health.

 

Taryn Toic
Secretary

As an industrial hygienist with a safety focused background, Taryn thoroughly enjoys learning about both the technical and people focused aspects of the profession and learning about a variety of industries and processes. Taryn is originally from Kelowna but moved to Vancouver to pursue her Master’s in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene at UBC. She is now a true Vancouverite who loves yoga and running along the Seawall. In her free time, you can find catching up on her favourite podcasts and experimenting with vegan recipes in the kitchen with her Vitamix.

Mavis Yeh
Newsletter Editor

Mavis is a CRSP in the occupational health & safety consulting industry. When she is not consulting on OHS, Mavis is an avid photographer and gardener. If you see her taking photos at the Monthly Meetings or Annual Conference and AGM, be sure to say hi to her.

Bobby Sidhu
Education Director

Bobby is a faculty member in the BCIT Occupational Health and Safety Program. He loves teaching and introducing a new batch of hopefuls to the health and safety professional every year. When not at BCIT he enjoys spending his time with his two young daughters and wife.

Luis Enquist
Advertising Director

Luis works as a Corporate Industrial Hygienist for the Metro Vancouver region. He holds a Master of Public Health in the field of Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto. Luis enjoys international travel adventures, exploring the great outdoors, world traditional cuisine and futbol.

 

Courtney Gendron
Treasurer

Courtney is working as an occupational hygienist in the consulting industry and holds a Master of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto. She recently moved to Vancouver from Sudbury, Ontario and is excited to explore the beautiful BC wilderness through some of her favourite activities: backpacking, rock climbing, and mushroom foraging. 

Tammy Bowen
Outreach Director

Tammy is an Occupational Hygienist with BC Hydro.  She has 18 years’ experience in the field of Occupational Hygiene and hold the CIH designation.  Tammy earned her diploma in Industrial Hygiene Technology from Lambton College in Sarnia Ontario and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University.  In  her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, snowboarding and playing hockey. 

Victoria Euper
Maintenance Points Director

Victoria works as an industrial hygienist in various industry sectors throughout the lower mainland. When she’s not at work you will find her skiing, biking, running, or swimming so that she can keep up with her vizsla.

Shadi Mahpour
Membership Director

A graduate of UBC and BCIT, Shadi found a career path that perfectly ties all her education and training to her passion for helping others. With over 10 years experience in various sectors, she strives to bridge the gap between occupational health ,safety and hygiene  and overall wellness.

 

Anna Rybczynski
Social Media Director

Anna began her career in the OHS field as a hazardous materials consultant in Ontario consulting to the high-risk asbestos abatement sector. She fell in love with the mountain lifestyle and moved to BC before joining WorkSafeBC as an Occupational Hygiene Officer where she was one of the founding members of the confined space team. She is now a consultant for VOHS Group.

Kevin Zhang
Webmaster

Kevin is working as an IH in oil and gas but reside in West Kelowna. Originally from Toronto and attended U of T for both undergrad in physiology and criminology as well as MPH in Occupational and Environmental Health. He enjoys keeping up with the technology, fitness, and the video game industry.

Aimie Wong
BCIT Student Representative

Aimie is in her second year of the BCIT OHS Diploma program. She is excited to combine her health care experience of 10 years with her new OHS knowledge and skills to pursue a career in health and safety. She is eager to explore the various opportunities that exist in different industries. Apart from her studies, she enjoys hiking in Squamish, checking out corgis, learning about mental health and hunting for the best lemongrass chicken in town.

Malin Mao
UBC Student Representative

Malin is a first year student in the Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene program at the University of British Columbia. Previously, she worked as a dental assistant. She earned an Honours Bachelor in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa. When she’s not studying, she practices playing the guitar and the violin.
