Elizabeth McDonald Award

 

The late Elizabeth McDonald was a prominent figure in the industrial hygiene community in British Columbia. Throughout her life, she made significant contributions to the development of our profession. This award was created to simultaneously honor her achievements and those who have followed in her footsteps.

 

There are many members of our organization who have advanced our professional community, promoted the AIHA and industrial hygiene to the public and educated our members and the public alike. We would like to celebrate their achievements and contributions to our field with this award.

 

Members can either self-nominate or nominate another member. All nominations will be evaluated by the AIHA BC Yukon Section Executive. To submit a nomination, download and complete the nomination form (Click Here) and send it back to our This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (Deadline: 24 February 2019). Alternatively you can mail the completed form to our AIHA BC Yukon postbox at PO Box 28614, Willingdon Heights RPO, Burnaby, BC, V5B 6J4.

Criteria used in the evaluation process include:

  • Promotion of the AIHA mission
  • Promotion of the AIHA BC-Yukon Local Section goals and strategies
  • Involvement and Participation in the AIHA BC-Yukon Local Section.

To be eligible for this award, nominees must be an AIHA BC-Yukon Local Sectiion member in good standing.
