  • Mark your calendars and register for the 2024 AIHA BC Yukon AGM happening on Friday March 8th, 2024! Please see the AGM Brochure for additional details and registration!

  • Mentorship Cafe! This social event will be held on Wednesday February 7th, 2024 at Steamworks Mount Pleasant. A total of 30 spaces are available, hoping to split between 15 mentors and 15 mentees! Registration is now open through the Meetings and Events Page. Registration closes Saturday February 3rd, 2024 at 12:00 pm!

Membership is open to all safety, ergonomics, environmental, public health and industrial hygiene professionals in BC and Yukon, as well as those in other provinces and other countries.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), founded in 1939, is the world's largest association of occupational and environmental health professionals. The AIHA BC-Yukon Local Section is an extension of the association representing members of the IH community within BC and Yukon to collaborate and promote workers' health and safety. 

Professional Development of
Industrial Hygiene

The AIHA BC-Yukon local sections offer its membership variety of ways to keep up to date with the latest development in industrial hygiene. These include monthly newsletters, meetings, mentorship, professional development courses. All to ensure the IH community and membership continue to learn and advance. 

Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety

AIHA BC-Yukon plays a role in the overall advancement for Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety by offering a place for H&S professionals to collaborate, share ideas, and gain knowledge that they can take back to their respective organizations to improve workers' health and safety.
